The deity self-emerged from the earth (SWYAMBHU) in the form of a stone block and was found by shepherds. When they touched the stone with a pointed rod the stone began bleeding. The shepherds were astounded and one night one of the shepherds got a dream that the deity was Lord Shani. I am a retired bank officer from Chennai, and a devotee of Sri Sai baba.
I have been visiting Shirdi every year. This year however I wanted to go to Shirdi along with my family who also was keen on having Saibaba’s dharshan.
My wife who has knee problems ,wanted to stay in Shirdi and also have the aarthi.
My son who could come because of his job, however wanted to send his children along with us. There fore i was very tensed as to how to manage everyone…as other times it was only myself i had to take care of.

Some one had said me the train package to shridi is very tiring & hence it was beyond thought of mind to opt for it, I was expecting things was simple, flghit package to Shirdi from Chennai with some one who would genuinely assist this retired old man, help me in our endeavour for having dharshan at the sai smadhi mandir at shirdi, show us places around shirdi, the accommodation at shirdi or the hotel in shirdi must be a nice clean place, the cab that we would be travelling must be at our disposal at the time what we wanted. My expatiation for the shirdi trip was very simple was what was difficult was how to arrange our tour to shirdi.

Breakfast was in a good hygienic place and also tasty.
We reached Shirdi in the afternoon and were given best accommodation in a 4 star hotel. Our grandchildren were happy to see the posh and clean and big rooms.The lunch also was an occasion for us to chat together as family with feloow sai devotees..
In the afternoon we had our first dharshan and then really felt that all the tensions in life are made to disappear- their pleasing guide Aniket accompanied us through out, my wife was given wheel chair to get in inside the samadhi mandir- by Sai babas grace.

Then in the early morning Vasantkamal team took us for the kakad aarthi which was the golden moment for my wife & me while our grand children slept in the room.

Really a blessed Sai Dharshan. With a great feeling of bliss we returned to the hotel and after lunch proceeded for Shani Shingnapur had darshan of a mahaganapti temple & at once we finished our evening tiffin & ready ily boarded the flight back.

After coming back to Pune we also met the owner of the company who personally came to enquire after us. Overall a great Shirdi tour. Thank you Vasantkamal….you made us a memory that we will never ever forget in our life.
